Bath Communities Partnership Slogan Explained

Bath Communities Partnership's new slogan - 'The Future Depends On What You Do In The Present' - has been adopted from a piece of urban artwork in the South West Triangle. The piece was conceived and painted by youth several years ago as part of an art project commissioned to the Bristol based Flipt Murals company.

Although such artwork may commonly be considered an eyesore or act of vandalism, the Partnership views the piece as an intelligent comment on personal and community relations. Flipt Murals accurately captures this on their website:

"Graffiti can enhance your world more than you think."

Not only does the message leave behind a legacy of thought for today's young people in the area to consider, but it also captures the essence of urban regeneration and the collective work undertaken by the Partnership.
