Project Summary
This project was requiring funding for the year of 2006/07, and is seeking to address the following:
- Overcoming the language barrier
- Empowering disadvantaged members of East Asian and Chinese communities to be integral to decision making
- Reducing social exclusion and enhancing opportunities for disadvantaged members of East Asian and Chinese communities
- Enhancing employment pospects, education and skills of local people
- Tackling crime and drug abuse and improinvg community safety
- Reducing health and social inequaliteis
- Promoting social harmony and community cohesion through participation and culture sharing.
