Bath City Farm’s Enspire (Environmental Inspiration) project works with a wide range of groups and individuals to look after the Farm’s 37 acre site in the South West Triangle area. This project is now in the second year of being funded by Bath Communities Partnership.

Volunteers protect the Farm’s green open space and maximise its use for amenity and conservation. The physical appearance of the farm has already dramatically improved through scrub clearance, hedge laying, tree planting and litter-picking to name but a few of the projects volunteers have been working on.

As well as teaching volunteers hands-on skills the Enspireproject is a great way for people to keep fit and healthy as working in the open air improves both physical and mental well- being.  The above photograph details a section of the new pond recently completed by volunteers and enjoyed by ducks!  For more information on how you can become involved call 01225 481269 or email admin@bathcityfarm.freeserve.co.uk
