Project summary

Mentoring Plus is a youth crime prevention project targeted at the south west of Bath.  The young people we will engage with will be between the ages of 12 –17 and come from socially and economically deprived backgrounds. We aim to work with young people to reduce crime, anti social behaviour, to reduce the level of social exclusion and to enhance employability.

Working closely with schools, we will also deliver a social skills training programme targeted at young people who have been excluded from mainstream education.

Through our project we hope to reduce social exclusion, build self-esteem, reduce levels of criminality and enhance the employability of the young people we are working with.
