Project Summary
It is proposed to establish an information, advice and guidance centre at Culverhay School that will be operated both on a 'drop in' and 'by appointment' basis. The centre will be open to all, it will offer access to IT facilities and include a children's corner with books and games. As part of the provision, the applicants aim to create an accessible learning centre for on line and tutor led courses and workshops, and it is hoped to develop a full public library. Partner organisations have agreed to visit the centre on a timetabled basis. It is the intention that the accommodation will be made available for out of school homework clubs for children of primary school age, and for general public use including meetings and presentations.
