Project Summary

BCP currently have funding till March 2007 and needs to develop a strategy to become sustainable past this date. A number of potions have been identified including asset management and taking legal entity status (Company Ltd by Guarantee/Development Trust).

Potential permises which are situated in the SWT area have been identified, the building is currently owed by the Council, and limited youth activites are delivered from the building. Pre-feasibility work undertaken by Bath Communities Partnership have identified a need in the area to develop the building into a Community Resource Centre. The feasibility study will determine the suitablitiy of the site and appropriate use of the facility.

A consultant will be employed to conduct the feasibility study, which will include the:

• Community consultation to identify need, use and cope of project.
• Business plan and budget for community facilities and Bath Communities Partnership.
• Site surveys and technical studies.
